Silly Things Continued…

Back to the deep dark plum hair issue.

Hydrogen peroxide and water. An equal mix, left on hair for 15 minutes. Guaranteed to lighten your hair.

Left it in for half an hour, and….

Nothing.

Didn’t do a damn thing.

Deep conditioned afterward anyway.

So, I have given up. I still wash my hair with Head and Shoulders every four days with a clarifying shampoo, as well as my other favorites in between.

Maybe it has gotten lighter. Not a significant amount, but that’s life.

Decided I didn’t want to use the color eraser. I really don’t want to damage my hair.

I will just ignore it and move on.

Again, first-world problems.

I need to focus on more important things.

Like finishing my first chapter of my dissertation. I close, very close.

then just 5 more chapters to go, with the longest being chapter 2, at least 30 pages, possibly as much as 60. Sounds like a lot, doesn’t it?!

It is a literature review of over 50 papers that I need to read that are near or branches of my subject matter, 3/4 of which have to be published within the last 5 years, or since 2020.

I currently have about 30.

I have been told that, overall, I should have about 100 papers included by the time I finish my dissertation.

My dissertation chair suggested that I rent a hotel room for a couple of days so I can write without any distractions. Yeah, I know that won’t work for me.

I’ll figure it out.

I always do.

So, I will write and wait for my hair to lighten up.

I wonder which will happen first?
