So, here we are sever al days, well a couple weeks later…
Anyway, on to the topic at hand.
I have cancer, again. This time it’s endometrial cancer. Apparently, it is one of the two ‘best’ cancers to have. I have, of course, had the other. I guess i better hope there isn’t another in my future.
Anyway, I saw my oncologist. Sweet girl. All of 12, I think. Ok, she isn’t, but my God she looks like she is. She was straight to the point, which I appreciate. She suggested that I have surgery as soon as I could.
Problem. Hubby and I are booked on a 24 day cruise that started, well, today. She understood and booked me for 5 days after we get back.
April is a busy month for me.
She is planning to do robotic surgery unless she finds too many scars on my abdominal wall. Then, it will be manual with the long incision that goes with it.
She is checking with my previous surgeon, not the thyroid one, to see exactly what his notes meant. Hopefully, all will be well.
It may be possible that it will all be done with a few incisions, and that’s it.
However, does my life ever go that easy?
