Shhh…. I have a secret

Again, I have fallen behind. I think it is probably because I should be working on my dissertation, but have become frustrated with it.

My advisor said I was done with my chapter, and that it was well done.

My subject matter expert (SME) said I wasn’t done and I need to work on the synthesis. For each freakin’ paragraph. Which I thought I had done well. As did my adviser.

The example that they sent was basically the same exact thing as the original, which makes absolutely no sense.

I’m confused. My advisor is confused.

Instead of finishing up the next chapter, I am still stuck on this one.

Frustration.

I have to finish this one and move on. I was hoping to be done by last June, and here it is March.

Why am I doing this again?!
