  • I have a lot to be thankful for this year. My husband and family are at the top of my list. As are several of my friends. I am also thankful that our current medical issues are (mostly) behind us. We have a roof over our head, food to eat, and are adequately clothed. I

  • Lacking in Motivation, I am

Bleah. It’s Monday. Mondays are always….. tiring. I have no idea why that is so now. I mean I have an odd work schedule. Sort of. Being a mom, I basically work 7 days a week, but officially I work for 6. Then there is my doctoral program, still. I am beginning to think I

  • Still Slogging Along

It is almost the end of October already. I can’t say that I will be sorry to leave this year behind us soon, but I can’t say that just changing the year on the calendar will make a difference. What a year it has been! Cancer diagnosis. Cruise! Cancer surgery. Car accident. Daughter and co.

Two: The literature review- 30-60 pages, including at least 50 references. Not easy. I try to be very concise with my word choice. You know, not using several words

  • Question

I have bunches and boxes of old family photos. The problem is that not all of them are labeled on the back, and I have no idea who they are or when they were taken. What do I do with them? I feel guilty even thinking about throwing them away, but I have no one

  • JAWS has returned to the theaters for its 50th anniversary. I still remember when it first came out. I, however, have never seen it. I was too young to see it when it originally came out, and I love the water too much to have seen it since. It’s at our local theater, which is

  • Trauma Response

It’s been four months since the accident. Some things are better, some are the same, and time still marches on. The truck was totaled. Well, there was $18,000 worth of damage done to it, enough that the insurance said she was toast. Bye, Denver. You were an excellent truck, and my husband loved you dearly.
