This is the reimagining of an old blog

Once upon a time, about 14 years ago, I started a blog, called “Secrets I wish I didn’t have. But as happens, after a while, life got busier, and it was left behind. Also, the password was lost to time.

For some unknown reason, it showed up in my browser yesterday. This is almost 8 years since the last post and two laptops ago. Why did it show up know? I have no idea. Possibly because I need the outlet again.

I have decided to repost what I had from before, mainly so that the things I blogged about before don’t get lost in time or in my own mind. I find that some secrets are better out of my brain than within.

IF you happen upon this Blog and think that you see yourself in the pages…. Well, it is possible.

If you disagree with how you are portrayed…. well, that’s on you.

This is about me and my life. Written here are things the way that I see them, or felt them.

So, to be clear, this is my blog about my life. Please respect that and do not borrow or steal my words or thoughts. I am writing a book that is partially based on my life and would appreciate not having it plagiarized before or after it is written.

If you do happen upon my blog and read it, leave a comment. I appreciate the interest.

  2. My old (WordPress) blog was apparently an exercise in futility, so I thought I killed it back around 2020-ish. Then recently I got bored and decided to renew the blog, but this time using WordPress.org, with the 100 or so wonderful stories and poems and articles that hardly anybody had read over the 4 years they had been posted. To my surprise, the supposedly dead blog was still alive, curses! People can get them mixed up. I had put all those little masterpieces in two books, which since 2022 only my son ever bought any of, and he hasn’t bothered to read them yet.
Maybe I will be interested in reading about your life. We shall see, but don’t be offended if I unsubscribe please. I mean, if you read my stuff, I will always be happy to read yours. And if I become interested in your life, I’ll be happy to share mine with you.
    Why not?

  3. A word about “likes.” I have found that quite frequently “likes” and even sometimes “comments” are given somewhat robotically by “people” who don’t read anything. I hate this, and when you trace back to the supposedly “like-giving” site it’s typically a commercial site, possibly an AI-generated ad platform.
